Upgrade the bit, RPM, cooling, engine, thermal hull, lights and 8 automation units — every upgrade is visible on the rig. Reforge the drill for permanent cores; maxing out takes days, not an hour.
How to play
The rig drills by itself — your taps on the shaft add instant metres and build HEAT: at 100% the drill goes into OVERDRIVE (×3 speed). Cooling upgrades make overdrive longer. Deeper layers are harder: push speed with the bit (10 tiers, each changes the cone), RPM, engine and automation units — drones, satellite drills, a seismic hammer, nanites, an orbital beam and more, all visible around the rig. The thermal hull gates the depth: past its rating the rig overheats and crawls. Armour plates block layer boundaries — tap them to break 3× faster. Catch gold veins (jackpot or ×2 boost) and supply capsules, collect 12 artifacts with permanent bonuses. From 26 km you can REFORGE the drill: depth and upgrades reset, but every core gives +2% speed and income forever. Offline the rig keeps drilling at 60% for up to 8+ hours. Reach the core at 4,000 km.
