This Game Hates You
A mean trap platformer in the spirit of Trap Adventure: soft two-colour pixel art, a fixed camera and eight trial rooms, each one out to kill you. Over thirty distinct traps with no repeats: fake floors and bricks from nowhere, arrows that cross the whole room, turrets, lasers, saws, pendulums, rolling balls, clamping walls, a crushing ceiling, geysers, trampolines, conveyors, ice, mimic doors, bait coins, fake keys, collapsing chain bridges and darkness where you see only a small circle around the hero. Every room has its own theme: a shooting gallery under crossfire, a trampoline workshop, an icy freezer, a lift shaft, an inverted world and the final dark. Deaths are free, the checkpoint is the start of the room, the counter remembers everything, and fast angry music keeps pushing you.
How to play
Buttons ◀ ▶ and jump at the bottom (keyboard: arrows/AD plus space, R restarts, Esc pauses). One press — one jump: holding the button will not bounce you. Reach the EXIT door alive and trust nothing: floors, bricks, coins, even keys lie, and the real one is usually past the fake. Bullets and arrows fly across the whole room — hop over them at the last moment. Rhythm traps (lasers, geysers, presses, blinking platforms) want you to wait for the window. Dying restarts the room, but now you know where the trick was. Progress is saved, deaths are free.
